Whether folks were fired up, silent or avoiding a situation or topic, Karen seemed to pick up on those details and address them appropriately, either in public or in private. Her ability to adjust with grace was something I consistently noticed. I met and worked with Karen when she was one of two facilitators heading up the inaugural Management Academy at Akamai.
